Slightly different from last\n week’s “tape-\u00e0-l’\u0153il”, “taper dans l’\u0153il” (to hit in the eye) is used \nto talk about things you’ve noticed favorably.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ex : J’ai vu ce \nmanteau en vitrine, il m’a tout de suite tap\u00e9 dans l’\u0153il ! (I saw that \ncoat in the window, I liked it straight away!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It works for people too, you can perfectly say that someone “vous a tap\u00e9 dans l’\u0153il”.
